Every Flight Fabrication Project is fully customized and unique. Through computer aided design and years of hands-on craftsmanship, we've found the perfect balance to deliver a consistent and quality end product. We making sure there no surprises and you are updated every step of the way!
The Process
First you submit your design to us via email* or we design together using Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD, and/or Solidworks.
We then utilize other cutting edge technology to engineer the design of the project including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for predicting how a product reacts to real-world forces, vibration, heat, fluid flow, and other physical effects.
We can print Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and Sterolithograhpy (SLA). We have a variety of materials that we can print as 3D for printed prototypes and in some cases production components.
We can also provide real time animations and Walkthroughs with Virtual Reality (VR) where you can interact with your products TO SCALE.
Through the duration of the project, you will have your own constant access to the design files and we will not make any changes or updates to the project without your stated approval
*If you are providing files we can accept many different formats. Our standard formats include but are not limited to: .IPT, .IAM, .IDW, .DXF,.DWG,.IGES, STEP,.SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .ASM. Please keep in mind that if you are providing assembly files that you will need to “pack and go”, “shrink wrap”, or send a complete zipped folder containing all components.
